The Final Years of A Cappella

Countdown Timer

From a Cassette Recorder at 5 to a Legacy of A Cappella Creativity

My journey with a cappella began when I was just 5 years old, with nothing more than a cassette tape recorder and an idea. Since those first years of recording on cassettes, to reel-to-reel, to computer, a cappella has been my lifelong passion. I am so grateful to God for giving me this gift to use for His glory and to encourage others through music. Over the years, I’ve arranged several hundred a cappella songs for various groups and had the privilege of recording over 100 of them as a one-man a cappella artist.

One-man a cappella is a unique craft that is incredibly rewarding, but it takes a toll on my voice. I have been singing this style since 1982! My voice is starting to feel the effects of thousands of hours behind the recording microphone. Since it appears that I’ll be able to do this type of recording less frequently in the coming years, I'd like to finish STRONGLY.

As I approach the final pages of this chapter, I want to complete my a cappella journey with a special project—my "50 by 50 Project."

The "50 by 50" Project: A Lasting Legacy

The "50 by 50 Project" is my mission to record 50 a cappella arrangements by the time I turn 50 on July 9, 2027. This collection will capture my dedication to the calling God has placed on my life, showcasing the depth and passion I’ve poured into my music for His glory.

A Musical Milestone:

With over 100 recorded arrangements, I’m working hard to reach this goal of 50 more recordings as a way of fulfilling the responsibility of the gift God has given me.

Support the Journey: Become a Supporter!

Stopping road travel to arrange and record is costly, and our livelihood depends on our ministry travels and CD sales. I’m incredibly grateful for the group of supporters who have come together on Ko-fi to help keep us ministering while supporting the "50 by 50" project. Through Ko-fi or by becoming a YouTube Member, you can join this amazing group and help me finish this final chapter of a cappella music.
